Inspiration for modern home office by MGB Architecture

The interior millwork is very practical. It’s designed to maximize storage and minimize clutter. Large sliding doors open to expand the corner to the garden court. The garden features interesting vertical and horizontal planes that create a variety of weather protected spaces. The decking system connects different structures together. Accessory Building, designed by MGB Architecture, is a small home office located in a residential neighbored of the North Vancouver, Canada. The office is fully functional and besides a working space there are spaces for meetings and for relaxing. Public access from the street leads to a courtyard and mezzanine. The public side of the building is quite modest and tucks quietly into the topography very well.

The golden brown color theme blends very well with the nature that surrounds the house. The interior continue the theme but with addition more modern white color. Thanks to that it feels very cozy and classic but looks as a modern one. It’s always filled with natural light that highlight stylish furniture. During summers the boundaries between indoors and outdoors disappear and the family is able to enjoy holiday-like lifestyle. Villa Nielsen is designed by Willa Nordic. It’s located at the forest edge and features large glass batches that not only frame awesome nature views from the inside but also grants the house a majestic look. The dramatic exterior also features generous terraces that help to catch as much Nordic light as possible.

The white gravel extended in the house’s surface accentuates this luminosity sensation. The interior is done in similar to the black modular house but more light and airy because it features even more white surfaces. The house has a 106 square meter area. It includes three bedrooms, two baths, hall, lounge – dining room, laundry room and kitchen. It costs 99.000 euros. A-Cero has presented other model of their sleek and modern modular houses. The show house was opened in Ferrol (La Coruña) for those who want to visit it. The new house features a facade done in combination of black glass with panels of white aluminium composite. It looks as modern and sleek as their previous show house but is more practical.

The raw concrete alternate with natural wood everywhere in the interior and their combination looks quite interesting. The furniture is relatively simple and adds minimalist touch to the interior. They created the house with using interesting materials and their combinations. It become a house of dreams for the family with great views of the lake near by.

There weren’t a lot of free space on the site so the rooftop garden with rain water catchments surfaces was created. The canopy on the roof holds solar panels that reduce 30% of energy consumed by the villa. The house is a great example of modern and sustainable architecture that uses the site as thoughtful as possible. Setia Eco Park Villa, designed by TWS & Partners, is located at the palm coconut plantation in 15 minutes ride from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its design is modern, inspired by asian architecture style, but with an appreciation to tropical environment.
