Small apartment decorating by Jordan Parnass Digital Architecture

The East Village Studio is a tiny apartment that serves owners for both living and working. It has only about 500 square feet of space and made like an open studio. It features an enormous amount of millwork that not only makes an environment look cosy but also produces a lot of storage space. The wood looks amazing in combination with high-gloss white surfaces. Among the most noticeable features of the millwork are stairs up to the sleeping loft that also serve as dresser drawers. Not all of us has large houses that have enough space for all our needs. Some of us live in small apartments that doesn’t have enough space even for comfortable living. Although some architects manage to create so thoughtful interior that even such apartments could be very livable.

The lighting around the room has three modes: white, blue and green. There are also a lot of metal accessories carefully placed around the room that help to imitiate a water surface under the sun. The bathroom has illuminated panel with the picture of the sea. Besides that the path to the sink there is done with mosaic tiles made of pebbles. The tiles supports the theme of the sea and have a massage effect. The kitchen, the dining area and the entrance hall are done in colors that reminds the early Baltic autumn. This apartment is designed with the Baltic Sea in mind. It’s located in Kaliningrad, Russia so this sea is really near by. The apartment consists of a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen with a dining area, a bathroom and a entrance hall. Every room has something that give you feeling that you live on the coast. For example, the living room has large photo print on the wall that shows sand dunes of a beach.

East Village Apartment, Renovating With a Vintage Feel

Koray Duman— an architect from Turkey, managed to get his hands on this East Village Apartment and successfully renovated it to sport a vintage and classic look. Uncovering three layers of brick under the finishing, Dunman painted them white for a clean and unique feel. Barely 600 square feet wide, every inch of the apartment has been utilized to the hilt by removing walls to merge the living room, the dining area and the bedroom into one. And then he used some smart storage spaces as separators for each region to retain the individual look of the rooms while giving the home itself a flowing theme. With ample natural lighting and some stylish furniture, that home certainly steals the show

A Hanging Bedroom in Valentin Apartment

Among the 7 wonders of the ancient world, the Hanging Gardens of the Babylon played as inspiration for the hanging bedroom in the Valentin Apartment. This may not qualify as an architectural wonder, but it sure makes you gape your mouth wide open in ‘wonder’ as you walk through the home’s door. French architect Emmanuel Combarel Dominique Marrec came up with this unique design that turns out to be the heart of a tiny apartment that intends to maximize available space in the most creative possible way. {via}
